Like all towns of Fuerteventura, Betancuria has a glorious climate all year round.
The sea breeze brings cool gushes of wind to the area. Then, during the summer months, fabulous sunshine is enjoyed by the locals and tourists. Rainfall is rare, too. However, some rain showers come around October to April. Then, over the winter months and rare cloudy days, as the weather become colder, travelers will need sweaters and trousers for the evenings. On the other hand, the essentials in any other season of the year are summer attire -- t-shirts, shorts and swimwear.
