Located north of Tuineje , the Betancuria Museum is located in the old part of Betancuria town, particularly in the House of Traditional Style.
The museum has five parts - the first two rooms are dedicated to archeological artifacts. It includes a display of the culture and artifacts of the Mahos - the pre-Hispanic inhabitants of Fuerteventura
The other two rooms are devoted to paleontological remains, where displays of Fuerteventura s climatic evolution are shown.
The last room includes ethnography materials such as lanterns, bowls, shepherd s bags, mortars, manual mills and a collection of aborigine pottery reproduction.
