The Church of San Marcos
Built in the late 18 th century, this church is one of the most outstanding architecture in Tuineje.
The Church of Archangel Micheal (San Miguel de Arcángel)
Built around 1790, this double-naved parish is an impressive example of Spanish architecture. A sculpture of Saint Micheal and the rococo altar are seen inside the church. In addition, the Virgen de la Salud , which is the town s patron saint, is also included in the religious artworks of the church.
Another feature of the church is the design found in the lower part of the altar. Displayed there are two images of the victorious battle against the English pirates, who were defeated in 1740.

The Hermitage of San Marcos Evangelista , which was built in the 18 th century, is found in the village of Tiscamanita .
