Iglesia de la Virgen de la Regla (Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Regla)
Built in between 1687 and 1711, this church is one of the most beautiful religious architecture in Fuerteventura . The features of this church, which displays a strong Latin-American influence, include the intricately decorated stone doorway and the Virgin statue that stands at the altar. This statue is believed to have been brought by a wealthy immigrant from Mexico.
The Iglesia de la Virgin de la Regla is open from 11 am until 1 pm and again at 5 pm until 7 pm.
Located opposite the church are the Town Hall of Pajara and a restaurant known as La Fonda - specializing in traditional rabbit and kid dishes.
Other places of interest where you can view the beauty of the Pajara Municipality are the Playa de Cofete and the Morro Jable Lighthouse.
